Earlier today, Tuesday, Here Is The City published a report highlighting the similar statistics that Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud and Newcastle United attacker Loic Remy are currently returning, whilst noting that the latter is one who Gunners fans, Piers Morgan in particular, have given their support to Arsene Wenger signing.
The feedback from readers was one-sided, with many feeling that Remy would be a good addition to the Arsenal roster and could even be not only developed into a club legend, but an all-time great like N5 favourite Thierry Henry.
Booby said: 'Remy would give is something we are sadly lacking without Walcott - pace. Morgan is [explicit], but he's totally right here. He would be an excellent addition to the squad, and give us a plan B. We cant rely on Bendtner to win us games from the bench. He is still raw, Wenger would definitely get the best out of him, and who knows, turn him into an Arsenal legend like TH14!'
Scotch Eggs Rule responded: 'He'd offer cover on both wings and great pace and a goal scoring threat. Would he be happy to be a squad player though rather than a star?'
Here is the data published alongside the earlier report:

AB Sanni said: 'For me, Loic Remy is an upgrade compared to Giroud. If Remy can get the service provided by these highly talented midfielders we've got,i think he can do wonders and above all he is within Wengers price range.Better still if we can get either Costa or Martinez.'
To which our friend Scotch Eggs Rule again replied: 'Why not Remy and one of the others? We have the salary structure and cash to buy and other, lesser, clubs have several excellent strikers on their books. I reckon Remy, Giroud and one other could be the way forward.'
