Alessandro Del Piero is winding down his career at the age of 39 but there's no shortage of clubs who would still love his services, including Thailand's PTT Rayong.
Del Piero is currently playing for Sydney FC where he has netted 19 times in 36 games and has been there since leaving Juventus in 2012.
Sydney FC chairman Tony Pignata insists that the Juventus great will remain with his club but Del Piero's agent and brother is reportedly in talks with PTT Rayong officials.
"He has told us that he needs a few days to think about it," he said. "There's a 60 percent chance we will sign him."
PTT Rayong are a new force in Thai football and are owned by the nation's biggest company Petroleum Authority of Thailand.
The contract being offered to Del Piero is likely to be enormously lucrative and will probably only tie him down for a short period.
However, Del Piero recently stated that he would love to return to Juventus in a playing capacity before he hangs up his boots, something which seems unlikely but gets ever less probable with each passing year.
