Chelsea transfer news: Midfielder rules out Stamford Bridge exit, agent of Juve target plays down move

A round up of transfer stories relating to Chelsea.

Reports are suggesting Premier League champions Manchester United will make a record bid for Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata.

The Daily Mail has suggested that United will offer up to £40 million to sign the Spaniard this month.

Mata has been routinely linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge as he fails to find regular first team football under Jose Mourinho.

There’s good news for the Blues today after midfielder Eden Hazard ruled out leaving the club for French giants Paris Saint-Germain.

PSG are one of the few European teams who could finance a move for the Belgian but Hazard says it’s not going to happen.

“It was the same when I was at Lille. It's often Paris, because Paris have money, Paris are a big club. But my choice is Chelsea, I play all the time, and I like it here,” he told TF1.

The agent of Chelsea target Kwado Asamoah has ruled out a move to the West London club.

The Juventus utility man has been linked with the Blues after a number of impressive performances for Chelsea in Serie A.

“Chelsea for Asamoah? My client is doing well with Juventus, one of the biggest clubs in the world, what matters for him is the field and he is not thinking at all to change teams,” Claudio Vagheggi told TuttoJuve.
