After a dramatic day in the winter market, Inter and Juventus are on the brink of completing a sensation swap deal that would see Fredy Guarin head to Juventus and Mirko Vucinic move the other way to Inter.
Guarin's future has been the subject of much intense debate with Chelsea for a long time seen as favourites to secure his signature.
Manchester United appeared to enter the race to lure the Colombian international before news surfaced that Juventus had stepped in with an offer linked to striker Vucinic.
Vucinic's future had also been the subject of intense speculation and rumours he could join Arsenal were quickly replaced by news that he had conducted a medical at Inter.
It seems that the deal that Inter and Juventus discussed at length yesterday would be a part exchange and the Nerazzurri would receive several million pounds to even up the transfer, but Inter fans are livid at the suggestion.
"Guarin to Juventus is not acceptable in this historic moment," the fans insisted.
"We'd be swapping a young and talented player for someone who isn't so young. All of it leaves us perplexed to say the least."
The Inter fans have started to raise some dissenting voices regarding Thohir, who replaced long-serving club president Massimo Moratti towards the end of last year but has been accused by Fabio Capello of 'doing nothing'.
"Inter are a Serie A side and deserve a Serie A club," the Curva Nord stated. "We advise Mr, Thohir to forget baseball, American Football and the NBA.
"We're not clear on what he is doing or thinking but we want fewer smiles and business terms and more action."
There were rumours last night that the angry reaction to the deal had prevented an exchange taking place but Vucinic has now held an Inter medical and the transfer could be completed later today.
