Transfer news from Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle United and Everton.

The Mirror has reported that David Moyes has given the go ahead for the big money pursuit of PSG striker Edinson Cavani. Rooney has a single year left on his contract this summer, which means United may be forced to sell the forward if he doesn’t consider a new deal at Old Trafford.

Real Madrid youngster Alvaro Morata says he will not be moving to Arsenal on loan this month. The forward has been suggested as a stop gap striker for Arsene Wenger over the second half of the season.

“After many rumours about my future I can confirm that I am happy in Real. The club considers that I am necessary for the team and I have decided to stay until the end of season,” he told reporters.

Juventus will not stand in the way if Mirko Vucinic to Arsenal if the player tells the Serie A giants he wants to leave. Juventus managing director Beppe Marotta has said it’s for the club’s players to decide their own fate.

“Even here, we have always said, it's for the players to decide their fate. So, if one of them were to come to us and say they want to leave because they have little opportunity, we will try to grant their request,” he told Calciomercato.

The Independent suggests Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has been given the green light to push for a Mohamed Salah deal. The FC Basel star has been widely linked with a move to the club this month and an £8 million offer could be just around the corner.

Manchester United have been dealt a blow as 22-year-old Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke has signed a new deal with the La Liga giants. The new deal has a reported release clause of £50 million and will expire in 2018.

Reports suggest Paris Saint-Germain are ready to bid £21 million for Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye. The Frenchman has been linked with moves to Arsenal, following their failed summer bid, and Chelsea but it’s questionable whether either will match PSG’s reported huge offer.

Everton are in the hunt to sign Lazio midfielder Ogneyi Onazi according to an Italian website. Gazetta dello sport has reported that Lazio have told the player he won’t be allowed to leave for a fee of under €10 million. He has previously been linked with a switch to Everton and Liverpool.
