QPR v West Ham for Belfodil?

Respected Italian transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà insists that Queens Park Rangers and West Ham are fighting for the signature of Ishak Belfodil.

The press were reporting that West Ham were on the brink of signing Inter striking starlet Ishak Belfodil a fortnight ago but now they face competition from Queens Park Rangers.

Belfodil is widely seen as a great talent for the future but at present he is struggling to break into Inter's first team.

Inter boss Walter Mazzarri is ready to let the 22-year-old leave to gain some experience and West Ham seem keen to accommodate him.

But it seems that there's an alternative English option for Belfodil in Championship outfit QPR.

However, any deal also has to be agreed by Serie A side Parma, who own 50 percent of the rights to Belfodil.

"A few days ago Parma were uneasy because Inter negotiated a deal with West Ham without consulting them," Italian transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà claims.

"But now Parma are on board and a new temporary home can be found for Belfodil. West Ham are in the running again but keep an eye on QPR who also like the player. Belfodil will weigh up his options and decide."
