Fiorentina scouts watching Palace player

Fiorentina are keeping a close eye on Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie and sent scouts to watch him play against Tottenham.

Fiorentina are looking to strengthen their squad in the winter window and Crystal Palace man Yannick Bolasie is on their shopping list.

The Viola have already pounced for Manchester United's Anderson but they are expected to bring in additional faces as they fight for Champions League qualification.

Bolassie was a star man in Crystal Palace's promotion campaign from the Championship and he has continued to impress in the top flight.

Although he struggled with a hamstring problem at the start of the season, the 24-year-old has been back at his best in recent weeks and seems to have done enough to attract one of Italy's top clubs.

According to Sky Sports, Fiorentina sent a scout to watch Bolassie play against Tottenham and he was sufficiently impressed to ask about the player's availability during a conversation between the two clubs last week.

Fiorentina may not be the richest club in Serie A but they do have money to spend and could have even more if they sell midfielder Juan Cuadrado.

Cuadrado is reportedly a major target for Arsenal and is said to be valued at over £10m after impressing during the first half of the season.
