Jose Mourinho reached his 100th league win against Manchester United on Sunday - and in less games than anyone in history.
The Special One has done it! One ton, one century: one hundred Premier League wins.
Jose Mourinho was always going to achieve the feat, of course, but there was perhaps no better way of doing so than a satisfying 3-1 win over arch rivals Manchester United.
The manner of the Chelsea coach's latest triumph was not the most spectacular aspect of the victory, however. No, the standout stat of the weekend is that Mourinho has won 100 league matches with the Blues quicker than any other manager in English history.
Sir Alex Ferguson, Arsene Wenger, Rafa Benitez, Kenny Dalglish, Gerard Houllier, Kevin Keegan, David O'Leary (a surprise one), David Moyes and six others have all reached 100 wins. But no one has done it as fast as Mourinho.
Indeed, the Portuguese has managed the record in 142 games, while his nearest rival Fergie did it in 162. Wenger, meanwhile, did it in 179.
All of this, bear in mind, while STILL being unbeaten at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League... Love him or loathe him, Mourinho's Chelsea record is certainly impressive.
"Of course it is nice and 100 victories in the Premier League is obviously one more fantastic thing for my career," Mourinho said after Sunday's win over United. "But the most important thing is really to win the match.
"It is three important points for us because it now opens a gap between us and Man United and Liverpool and we are still in contact with Arsenal and Manchester City."
