Come and get him for €40 million, that was the message from Sevilla's president last week regarding Ivan Rakitic.
Quizzed regarding the Croatian playmaker's future, suitors Manchester United and PSG were told to meet his release clause or walk away, and so far no bids have yet been forthcoming.
He scored again at the weekend in Sevilla's 1-1 draw at Atletico Madrid, his ninth of the season.
After the game he was asked about his future plans, with just 18 months left on his contract.
The central midfielder responded to indicate a move was the last thing on his mind, hinting he foresees a long-term stay at the club.
He said: "I am happy at the club, I like to play at Sevilla and I think I'll like to in the future. Myself and my family are happy here."
No guarantees, but hardly a hint the midfielder is going to be Old Trafford bound any time soon.
Until he is told he is wanted elsewhere, Sevilla will always be the best move for him. It remains up to Manchester United to attempt to persuade him otherwise.
