Transfer talk: Featuring Cavani, Salah and Courtois

Transfer news from Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Newcastle United, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur.

Liverpool are reportedly set to tie up a deal to sign Mohamed Salah. The ‘Egyptian Messi’ has been a long-term target for Liverpool - but has also been courted by Chelsea, Tottenham, Borussia Dortmund and Zenit St Petersburg.

But reports today suggest that Salah has told FC Basel and his friends that he wants to move to Anfield in the current transfer window.

Manchester United have switched full-backs - and now want Seamus Coleman from Everton.

David Moyes has previously attempted to raid his old club for Leighton Baines on the opposite side - but after seeing the Irishman come on leaps and bounds this season he is now looking to see if Coleman can take over in the troublesome right-back position.

They are reportedly ready to spend up to £15 million on his signature.

Papiss Cisse’s reported move to Qatar Stars League outfit Al-Rayyan has reportedly fallen through.

The Senegalese striker is currently out of favour with the Toon Army and they are actively said to be trying to sell the player this month.

The deal has reportedly falling through as they have not met his £10 million release clause.

He is still set to be let go by the club this winter however - with the likes of Borussia Monchengladbach said to be keen on his services.

Manchester United are being linked with a sensational move for PSG striker Edinson Cavani. The Premier League champions are set to spend big in the summer - and Moyes has earmarked the Uruguayan as his reported number one target should Wayne Rooney leave.

Pinch of salt needed I am sure but exciting nonetheless.

They are also being linked with Julian Draxler.

Chelsea are reportedly readying a massive swap deal for Diego Costa of Atletico Madrid. The striker is in top form this season and Chelsea are in desperate need of goals up front - and are reportedly willing to give up the best young keeper in the world in Thibaut Courtois to get their man.

Got any of that salt left?
