Tottenham Hotspur continued their fine recent form, winning 3-1 away to Swansea City earlier today.
Emmanuel Adebayor opened the scoring 10 minutes before the interval, heading in from close range. Chico Flores then put through his own net to give the visitors some breathing space.
The Togo international - in outstanding form since his return to the team - added his second and Tottenham's third with 19 minutes of normal-time remaining. And while Wilfried Bony continued his own impressive scoring form to pull one bag, it was too little too late.
The defeat means the Swans are now perilously close to the relegation zone, and they need an upturn in fortune soon. Something similar to what has happened with Spurs in fact, who are now pushing hard for a top-four place.
Spurs are currently fifth, outside the Champions League places only on goal-difference, while Michael Laudrup's side are 15th.
