One of the stars of the Chelsea season so far has been Belgian play-maker Eden Hazard.
The talented attacking midfielder has put in several sensational performances - as he begins to fully justify the £32 million Chelsea spent on him in June 2012.
Of course, such performances would have attracted interest from other big spending clubs from around the globe.
In recent weeks the rhetoric regarding Hazard’s future is that of a potential move to French champions Paris Saint-Germain.
It was recently reported that the attacker had privately admitted a desire to play for the club - and PSG were reportedly confident of snapping him up in the summer.
Of course Hazard has Ligue 1 previous. Formerly of Lille he already has a vast reputation in French football as being one of the best to play in the league in the past five years.
And PSG are always a transfer threat - with their vast sums of money the envy of many a team across the globe.
So with all this rumour and conjecture, it is always good to hear from the player himself that he is not going anywhere.
And that is exactly what Hazard has done. He has been speaking to Telefoot this weekend ahead of the Manchester United crunch fixture this evening:
"Every transfer window for the last four years they say that I'm here, I'm going there ... Even when I was in Lille, it was the case. It has often been cited PSG because Paris is a great club, it is no secret. But I'm Chelsea, and I am. There is no chance to see me leave during this transfer window. The next summer? Yes even in the summer, that I ... I do not want to leave, and I think here is the best place to grow.”
Good news. It sounds like Hazard is here to stay for the foreseeable future - as his comments cannot be misinterpreted or changed in anyway - he is clear.
He is not moving from Chelsea this winter or next summer.
There’s something to drink too.
