Manchester City scored their 100th goal of the season, and did not stop there, as they defeated Cardiff City 4-2 earlier today.
Eden Dzeko was the man to score the headline-strike, putting the Blues ahead in the 14th minute. However, Cardiff suggested they could spoil the party, equalising 15 minutes later. But City had other ideas, and re-took the lead through Jesus Navas.
The score remained 2-1 to the hosts until a quick-fire double from Yaya Toure and Sergio Aguero settled the encounter; although there was still time for the visitors to score again, this time through Frazier Campbell, who netted for the third time against City this season.
The result means City stay second, just a point behind league leaders Arsenal, while Cardiff are now bottom of the table.
