Report: Boost for Juventus as Nani chooses Italian agent

Juventus' attempts to lure Manchester United man Nani could be aided by his decision to hire an Italian agent, according to Tuttosport.

Juventus are still on the trail of Manchester United winger Nani and the Old Lady's chances of pulling off a swoop may have been assisted by the news of the player changing his agent.

Nani is said to be unsettled at Old Trafford after a tough season that appears to have damaged his relationship with the fans.

Serie A leaders Juventus are believed to be determined to bring the 27-year-old to Turin as Antonio Conte is a known admirer of Nani.

Juve made efforts to lure Nani last summer but the Bianconeri failed to persuade Manchester United to let him leave and any chance of a move was further dented when Nani extended his contract until 2018.

However, Nani's status at the club has diminished and it looks more likely that he could be allowed to move away, plus there are reports that the player is keen on the change of scenery.

And Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport believes that Nani's decision to replace representative Jorge Mendes with a group run by Italian Federico Pastorello is a step towards a move to Juventus.

Pastorello's group also look after Fiorentina marksman Giuseppe Rossi, Manchester City's Pablo Zabaleta and Nani's teammate Patrice Evra to name a few.

As yet there don't appear to have been concrete talks, but United boss David Moyes would probably be open to losing Nani and Tuttosport has previously claimed that the winger is eagerly awaiting a call from Juve sporting director Beppe Marotta
