Some of the latest transfer news and more involving Tottenham Hotspur this Thursday evening.

Midfielder Nacer Chadli will stay and fight for his place at Tottenham according to the London Evening Standard.

Chadli was reported to be looking for a move away from White Hart Lane in order to improve his chances of getting into Belgium’s World Cup squad in Brazil but his agent Daniel Evrard has said the 25-year-old has had a chance of heart.

Evrard is quoted saying: ‘Nacer has been thinking about a loan but after a good conversation with the club, we have decided to stay. Spurs is still the best choice.

‘You can’t compare Nacer’s situation with Kevin De Bruyne’s situation at Chelsea.

‘He almost didn’t play in the last six months. Nacer’s always in the squad and gets his minutes. He isn’t afraid to lose his place in the Belgian national squad.’

Spurs are believed to be lining up a move to lure Dimitar Berbatov back to the club according to Goal.com.

Berbatov is believed to be happy at his current club, Fulham, according to the report – but is open to a move to Spurs, but not outside the capital.

It is believed £1.5m will be enough to land the Bulgarian.

Any hopes that Tottenham may have had of landing teenage winger Tonci Mujan appear to have ended for this transfer window at least according to TalkSport.

The 18-year-old wants to stay with his current club Hajduk Split, with Liverpool and Chelsea also rumoured to be interested in the teenager.

Away from transfers midfielder Christian Eriksen believes he can get even better after hitting a good run of form in the past month.

Eriksen told the club’s website: ‘I’m lucky I can provide goals and create some chances, but I can still do better and I will work every day to do that.’
