The Denmark international has picked up the Bidone d’Oro accolade for his unremarkable loan spell at Juventus.
The former Sunderland loanee has been linked with plenty of new clubs over the last 12 months, but has remained at the Emirates Stadium as Olivier Giroud’s back-up.
Bendtner looks unlikely to secure a move to Serie A, after an unsuccessful loan spell with Juventus last term has seen him award the Bidone d’Oro – an award for the worst player in the Italian top flight over the course of a campaign.
Bendtner spent last season with the Turin giants, but was instantly criticised for being overweight. Over the course of the season, the Scandinavian only managed nine appearances for Antonio Conte’s men, starting just twice, and failing to hit the net.
The Arsenal flop received 23.7 per cent of the vote for the Bidone d’Oro, which translates to the ‘Golden Bin’.
Bendtner joins illustrious names on the list including Alexandre Pato, Rivaldo, Christian Vieri and three-times winner Adriano.
