Real Sociedad's Antoine Griezmann has been discussing his future.
There can be few better young wingers in Europe or indeed the world than Antoine Griezmann.
Playing for a club in Real Sociedad who cannot be considered one of Europe's elite teams, it is only a matter of time until one of those clubs do come calling.
With his future a regular topic of discussion in Spain, the Frenchman has sought to answer some of the speculation and draw a line under it for this transfer window at least.
Speaking to French radio station RMC, he said: "I want to finish the season with my club. I do not want to start thinking about the transfer market.
"The rest, we'll see in time. I have not been contacted by clubs. I think I was pretty clear in the press conference by saying that I did not want to leave my club this winter. "
Griezmann, 22, has an impressive 12 goals in 22 starts from the left wing for Sociedad this season.
At United he would represent the long-term successor for Ryan Giggs the club have failed to find to date, while Arsenal do not possess an orthodox left-winger, instead playing Santi Cazorla and Lukas Podolski in the position.
A deal for the young talent clearly looks like it will have to wait, but whoever eventually misses out may revisit this transfer window and wish they had done more to persuade club and player into a transfer.
