The excitement surrounding a potential big-money Arsenal acquisition - the club's second of the current season - is snowballing with each passing day as an increasing amount of Gunners fans ask questions regarding the future of Schalke 04 superstar Julian Draxler, 20, and whether he will end up entertaining inside the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal have been linked with multiple strikers in the past six months, from the sensation like Liverpool forward Luis Suarez, to the Premier League experienced in Dimitar Berbatov, to the short-term loan solutions as per Alvaro Morata.
None would create as big a buzz as Suarez, a player whom, with each pass producing assist or net-busting golazo, forces renowned Arsenal supporter and media mogul Piers Morgan to implore Arsene Wenger to sign him, even if it were for £100m.
Of course, any speculation linking Suarez to Arsenal has now well and truly ebbed as the Uruguayan recently committed to a new mega £175,000 per week deal and has even spoken of his determination to win Liverpool Champions League football next season.
When John W Henry and Brendan Rodgers close one door, the transfer market and Ivan Gazidis, open a window.
Enter Draxler, a player Morgan believes would link-up wonderfully with his fellow national Mesut Ozil.
Technically-savvy Draxler is regarded to have Robin van Persie-like potential. In Champions League competition thus far this season, he has been responsible for producing a goal/assist every 98 minutes he is on the field - but he has done so from a wide position.
