Adrien Rabiot scored for Paris Saint-Germain last night as the French giants progressed in the Coupe de la Ligue with a 3-1 win over Bordeaux.
The 18-year-old started and had a solid 90 minutes, as he continues to enjoy a growing reputation in French football.
He’s been widely used by Laurent Blanc in the French capital this season with 25 appearances in all competitions scoring just twice with only one assist to his name so far.
He looked calm and composed throughout the match last night as he achieved a number of impressive statistics over the course of the game; an 84% passing success rate, the joint highest number of touches from a PSG player and three tackles along with three interceptions.
Whether a move will happen this month is doubtful because Blanc has shown how important he is to the PSG first team by selecting him frequently.
However, a deal this summer is definitely on the cards if he continues failing to commit to a new deal in the French capital.
The only downside for the teams interested in him is that as his performances improve and are consistent, his value is only going to increase, making him more expensive than he already is.
