Alan Pardew has been warned by the FA for swearing at Manuel Pellegrini.
The Newcastle boss was furious that Cheick Tiote's equaliser had been ruled out for offside against Pellegrini's Manchester City side on Sunday, duly making his feelings known to the refereeing officials.
The men in black were not the only ones to feel the 52-year-old's wrath, with Pellegrini then being told "Shut your noise you f***ing old c***."
Pardew apologised for his outburst after the game but the footballing authorities have still felt it necessary to warn the Newcastle coach against repeating the offence.
An FA spokesman confirmed: "We have been in contact with Alan Pardew and reminded him of his responsibilities."
Should Pardew have been punished for his outburst?
