Manchester United pair could leave Old Trafford imminently, according to their agent.
Manchester United manager David Moyes has a number of issues to address regarding his rearguard, namely, the fortification of a roster of defenders as a number of accomplished senior-level players are free to negotiate personal terms with other clubs as their contracts expire in the summer.
Veteran centre backs Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic, once regarded as the most formidable pairing in British football, both see their deals run out within six months, as does Patrice Evra.
According to Calcio Mercato, representative Cassiano Pereira explained that: 'I can say they will remain in Manchester till the end of this season but in the summer it is likely they can go.'
There has been media rumours reporting a link with Internazionale, however, this was quashed by the agent, who added: 'I know nothing about these rumours, I think it is just media speculation.'
Like Evra, Vidic and Ferdinand, Fabio's contract expires within six months. Rafael's though, is still valid for another two and a half years.
