Former Arsenal target Luiz Gustavo has revealed he would consider a move away from Wolfsburg if a 'big club' came in for the Brazilian midfielder.
Gustavo was the subject of interest from Arsene Wenger in the summer, before snubbing the north London club to join Wolfsburg from Bayern Munich.
However, the 26-year-old has refused to rule out a move away from the Bundesliga after just 14 appearances in the German league. Could Wenger get his man after all?
“If a big club comes, you have to look," Gustavo told reporters.
“I feel better and better, [Wolfsburg] has big goals. I’ll give everything until the last day. But it's hard to say what will be in the future."
There have been no reports of Arsenal reigniting their interest in the Brazilian, although the Gunners could look into the matter further if the 26-year-old does officially become available.
Several other Premier League clubs, meanwhile, could be on alert if Gustavo sets his sights on a move away from Wolfsburg, with Manchester United and Chelsea, specifically, searching for a new midfielder.
The Blues has been heavily linked with Nemanja Matic, however, so United and Arsenal would be in a strong position to move for Gustavo in the summer.
Could Gustavo become an Premier League player next season?
