The Bianconeri are running away with the Scudetto, leading second-placed Roma by eight points and on commanding form.
Juventus battered Cagliari 4-1 at the Stadio Sant'Elia to record an 11th consecutive victory and despite their Champions League disappointment it has been an impressive season for the Old Lady.
"Antonio has rushed forward and immediately built a great team," Marotta enthused in an interview with Radio Anch'io Lo Sport.
"This makes him one of the best in the world at what he does. We are Juventus, a great club, who are regaining their prestige and recognition on an international level despite the fact we don't have the same economic resources as other clubs on that stage.
"I'm optimistic for his future. I hope that Conte becomes for Juventus what Ferguson was for Manchester United or what Wenger is still for Arsenal."
Marotta also spoke of the current title race in Italy and the advantage that his side have built in the first half of the season.
"Our primary objective is to win," he said. "The third Scudetto in a row would be something historic but to deliver it we will have to watch out for competition from Roma, Napoli and Fiorentina who are the most challenging opponents."
Juventus are aiming to keep hold of midfield star Paul Pogba despite interest from top European clubs and Marotta gave an update.
"In the club's history, Juventus have always bought many but sold few champions," he said. "From our point of view we don't want to sell Pogba and we have closed the door on his suitors."
