Transfer news from Newcastle United, Norwich City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal.
Norwich City are lining up a move for Jonas Gutierrez. The Argentine has been out of favour at the Newcastle United club so far this season as Alan Pardew has preferred to use other options.
He was not included in the squad for the game against Manchester City today and Chris Hughton has previously worked with the versatile player in the past at St James Park - and could be keen on a reunion with his former boss.
Fiorentina have confirmed that Manchester United midfielder Anderson is a potential transfer target for the club.
The Brazilian has not been a regular for Manchester United recently - as injuries and fitness concerns have taken a hold on his first-team spot in the Red Devils first-team.
And now Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prada has confirmed the interest:
"Anderson is a player who Fiorentina likes and is following, but this certainly applies to many other players."
Manchester United boss David Moyes has been spotted at the home ground of Cagliari - as they take on Juventus in Serie A.
It is believed he was watching Davide Astori, Arturo Vidal, Claudio Marchisio or Victor Ibarbo in action.
Arsenal are said to be ready to do battle with Chelsea for the signature of Atletico Madrid youngster Saul Niguez. The Spanish under-21 international, who is currently out on loan at Rayo Vallecano, is just 19-years-old but highly rated in Spain after an exceptional first six months of the new season.
Barcelona are also said to be keen on the player - but Arsenal will hope their Spanish contingent can help lure him to The Emirates.
