Manchester United could be open to offers for Nemanja Vidic, whose contract expires at the end of the season, and sources in Italy suggest that Juventus are hoping to woo the Serbian star with a three-year deal.
The club captain's agent has recently stressed that Vidic will remain at Old Trafford until the end of the season before evaluating his future.
However, there have been frequent suggestions in the Italian press that Juventus are keen to bring the 32-year-old to Turin whether that swoop is in January or June.
"Juve want a great defender and they have found him in Vidic," Pedullà claims. "His contract at United expires in the summer and it would be a surprise if he renewed it.
"Over the last few days and even last few hours there has been contract between Juventus and Vidic - they have put together a three-year offer and the interest is growing.
"There's no lack of competition for Vidic's signature but Juventus' interest is concrete."
Vidic may be tempted by a three-year deal at this late stage in his career, especially given his recent struggles with injury.
