Real Madrid, Juventus, Barcelona, Sochaux and Roma stars all feature.
Tottenham Hotspur have a great chance of getting into the top four by the end of the season. Tim Sherwood seems to have given the current squad a lift following the departure of Andre Villas-Boas.
Tottenham spent a lot of cash last summer so there may not be many big deals happening at the club in the near future, but that hasn’t stopped the rumour mill suggesting plenty of possible players could sign.
Here are the top five players linked with Spurs from the past week.
1) Alvaro Morata (Real Madrid)
Tottenham are one of several clubs who are thought to be keen on a loan deal worth £1.7 million for the Real Madrid man. Spurs tried to sign him as part of the Gareth Bale deal last summer and he’d be a good addition up front.
2) Mirko Vucinic (Juventus)
Vucinic could be a very savvy signing by Tim Sherwood because of his tremendous experience. With Jermain Defoe heading to the MLS, Vucinic offers a reliable form of attacking support to Roberto Soldado and Emmanuel Adebayor.
3) Isaac Cuenca (Barcelona)
Another La Liga based attacking star Tottenham have been linked with is Barcelona’s Isaac Cuenca. TalkSport has suggested the Spanish champions are keen to offload him in a loan deal with Spurs willing to oblige.
4) Sebastien Corchia (Sochaux)
Tottenham are short at the back and the addition of a versatile defender like Corchia would be a good piece of business. However, the 23-year-old is thought to favour a move to Serie A.
5) Michael Bradley (AS Roma)
The last thing Tottenham probably need right now is another midfielder but that’s exactly what the Mirror have suggested today. The target is American Michael Bradley, apparently disillusioned with the number of people in front of him in the pecking order at Roma.
