Players set to return for Gunners' visit to Aston Villa on Monday night.
Ramsey has a thigh injury and has not featured since the 3-1 win at West Ham United on Boxing Day, but Wenger believes there is a “small possibility” that the Welshman could play a part at Villa Park, and the same goes for Kieran Gibbs, who has a shin injury.
The manager is more confident over Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud, who both had training sessions yesterday and may well be available. Giroud’s availability would be a big boost for the Gunners in the light of Theo Walcott’s knee injury suffered last weekend.
Striker Nicklas Bendtner will not return for three weeks after he suffered an ankle injury in last weekend’s 2-0 win over Cardiff City at Emirates Stadium, while Wenger also confirmed that defender Thomas Vermaelen, who has a knee problem, is likely to miss Monday’s match.
Winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is available after five months out – his last appearance came on the opening day of the season, in the 3-1 home defeat against Villa.
The Gunners boss also confirmed that Walcott will undergo surgery and then rehab. Wenger told Arsenal.com: “The only thing I can say is that it’s very sad for us and, above all, for him.”
