It is an open secret that Paris Saint-Germain would like to sign Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba but did the club accidentally give away their intentions on Twitter?
Pogba is fast becoming one of Serie A's most coveted players and Juventus know that they will have to fight to keep him in Turin.
Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid are amongst the sides said to be courting the French international, but there have been suggestions from various sources, such as FIFA agent Ernesto Bronzetti that Paris Saint-Germain are in pole position.
Apparently a fan posted a series of photos of Pogba mocked up in a PSG shirt on Twitter, which was then re-tweeted by the club's official account.
That re-tweet caused chaos with a deluge of confused and excited tweets from PSG and Juventus fans, but it was then deleted.
Juventus have been trying to negotiate a contract renewal with Pogba and have insisted that he is staying put, but the latest furore could be designed to de-stabilise talks.
"We know who PSG's next signing is - it's Pogba," Bronzetti said on the show Calciomercato.
"In my opinion Juventus couldn't hold out against a bid of £40m or £50m."
PSG are yet to make any official comment on the Twitter incident.
