New faces of AC Milan could be Seedorf and Stam

AC Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri will leave at the end of the season and could be replaced by Clarence Seedorf with Jaap Stam as his assistant.

AC Milan are set to enter a period of transition at the end of the current campaign and their new era could begin with Clarence Seedorf and Jaap Stam on the bench.

The Rossoneri have had a terrible start to the league season but Champions League progress has provided a welcome respite.

However, the pressure on coach Max Allegri is intense and he has already stated his desire to leave the club in the summer.

Former Milan midfield star Seedorf has been frequently backed to begin his coaching career on the Diavolo bench when he hangs up his boots.

Seedorf is currently with Brazilian side Botafogo but has already started studying to be a coach.

A report in the Corriere dello Sport suggests that Seedorf is already making plans for Milan and has lined up fellow ex-Rossonero Stam as his second in command.

There are still other candidates for the Milan hot seat, including one of Seedorf's former teammates Pippo Inzaghi.
