If Liverpool and Everton have maintained their previous admiration for Rubin Kazan's 23-year-old defensive midfield enforcer Yann MVila, then they may be particularly interested to hear of the latest statement made by the player's representative Werner Baader, who has spoken of multiple clubs wanting to recruit his client but hopes for a transfer to the Premier League.
A standout at Rennes, MVila had a playing style so adept that it was not long before his agent began fielding phone calls regarding his availability. Russian outfit Rubin Kazan acquired his services 12 months ago and has featured in 22 domestic matches, while also appearing in seven Europa League games this season, yet could be on the move in the current transfer market.
Baader is quoted by Izvestia to have said: 'Yann respects the existing contract with Kazan and will meets his obligations. I will not deny there is interest from many European clubs, including from Britain. I think many players dream to play in the Premier League.'
MVila is no stranger to controversy yet, on the pitch, he is statistically impressive, can boast of an extremely accurate passing rate, has a strong tackle, an exceptional work-rate that would fit in well with the English culture and is also comparable to Patrick Vieira and Yaya Toure.
This season alone he has been linked with a move to Everton by L'Equipe and Liverpool by the Daily Mirror. He also attended a Liverpool match in order to support fellow national Mamadou Sakho.
