Goldman Sachs is shaking up its technology, media and telecommunications investment banking group, according to internal memos.

The New York Times reports that George Lee, who has served as co-head of group since 2008, will become the group’s chairman. He will also serve as Chief Information Officer for the investment banking division, a newly created position.

Anthony Noto, the other co-head of the group, will remain in his role.

In the meantime, The Wall Street Journal reports that Goldman has also has promoted Jonathan Penkin and Andrea Vella as co-heads of its regional financing group in Asia-Pacific (ex-Japan), which handles bond and share sales, including initial public offerings, according to an internal memo seen by The Wall Street Journal on Wednesday.

And Reuters reports that JPMorgan Chase has named Kristin Lemkau Chief Marketing Officer for the entire company.

Lemkau, 46, will continue as chief communications officer for the Chase consumer and community banking unit and will also be responsible for company-wide brand strategy and advertising, sponsorships, market research and event marketing, according to a statement from the firm.

Finally, Bloomberg News reports that Royal Bank of Canada has appointed New York-based investment-banking chief Blair Fleming to a new role as head of RBC Capital Markets in the U.S.

Fleming, 52, who maintains responsibility for U.S. investment banking, will report to Doug McGregor, 57, the unit’s chief executive officer, for the new role, Gillian McArdle.
