Blackpool winger Tom Ince is in talks over a move to Swansea City after turning down a move to fierce rivals Cardiff City in the summer - but a move to Everton could also be a possibility for the England Under 21 international.
According to reports, Ince commands a fee of around £4m, with some believing he could end up costing double, closer to the fee that was agreed with Cardiff.
He has scored seven goals in 23 appearances for Blackpool so far this season, and the Tangerines are faced with yet another transfer window of rumour surrounding one of their more high-profile players.
Ince has been the subject of much speculation in recent transfer windows, after he was heavily linked with a move back to Liverpool, where he played for the side at reserve level but never really broke into the first team. Tottenham were also said to be interested in the 21-year-old.
The Liverpool Echo, however, have reported that Everton boss Roberto Martinez is keen on taking the winger to Goodison Park. The article says that Ince is ‘excited by the prospect’ of linking up with Everton.
The stumbling block for Everton may be compensation paid to clubs for players under the age of 23.
