The Brazilian attacking midfielder looks set for a move to Turkey, with Besiktas thought to have wrapped up a deal for the talented playmaker.
There is an outside chance that Ronaldinho is being considered for the Brazil national side ahead of this summer’s World Cup, but it appears that the crafty veteran could well be changing clubs in January.
The former Barcelona star played a key role in helping Atletico Mineiro to the Copa Libertadores title in 2013, and has recently returned from injury to feature in the Club World Cup.
Despite seeming relatively settled in his homeland, it is believed that Ronaldinho may well have signed a deal to return to Europe.
Reputable Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf has reported that Besiktas have won the race for the South American’s signature, and Ronaldinho has agreed to sign for the Turkish giants.
The report suggests that the 33-year-old has signed a lucrative two-and-a-half year contract with the club, and will make a move back to Europe in the next month.
Fans of the Turkish side are already starting to get very excited by the rumblings, but as yet there has not been a confirmation by the club.
