Erik Lamela is back to full first team training following a thigh strain.

Tottenham Hotspur released a training photo yesterday which showed £30 million summer signing Erik Lamela back in action.
The return of the Argentinian midfielder has both positives and negatives for Tim Sherwood, the man who has finally allowed Lamela to try and stamp his authority on the Tottenham first team.
There are two main problems that Sherwood has in terms of Lamela’s return.
Firstly, he has a problem at right midfield because Aaron Lennon has been doing a solid job on that side of the pitch ever since Sherwood was appointed as the club’s head coach.
Secondly, it increases the chances that Lamela could leave the club this month.
There are several active reports appearing in the written and online press which suggest several Serie A clubs are looking at the possibility of loaning Lamela over the second half of the season.
No top European side would surely be interested in loaning an injured player.
Some even suggest that his agent is already in Italy working away on a deal.
The undoubted positive from the picture and the news is that it gives Sherwood a high quality and good impact option to use with the first team.
Lamela has shown glimpses of what he can do so far this season and Spurs are going to need him as Sherwood juggles his squad for Premier League and Europa League matches over the rest of the campaign.
Prior to his thigh strain, Lamela featured in three successive matches for the club and even trained on the White Hart Lane pitch alone following the 1-1 home draw against West Bromwich Albion.
As long as his agent isn’t working on that deal to take him away from the club, his return surely has to be considered as more of a positive for Sherwood.
