Tottenham latest: Goalkeeper has interest from three clubs, defender attracts PSG interest

A selection of the latest transfer stories and more involving Tottenham Hotspur on this Tuesday evening.

Three clubs are said to be interested in out of favour Tottenham goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes according to Sky Sports.

Hugo Lloris and Brad Friedel are preferred to the Brazilian at the moment as he looks to find a club that will offer him first team football.

His agent Alex Soares, told Sky: ‘At the moment I have received interest from three clubs in relation to Heurelho. There is no formal offer made, it will depend on Tottenham’s position.

‘In my view he must leave Tottenham this month. There is no sense to keep him at Spurs if he is not playing or not even being given the opportunity to play.’

Right-back Kyle Walker is being linked with interest from French champions PSG according to French newspaper Le Parisien. The club is understood to be trying to sign a right-back who isn’t cup tied for the Champions League having lost Christophe Jallet to injury.

Christian Eriksen described receiving the Danish footballer of year award on Saturday as a ‘special honour’.

He told the Tottenham website: ‘It’s a big thing, a real honour to win that award from my fellow professionals and a proud moment for me.'

Young midfielder Nabil Bentaleb says he can learn from the experience of Saturday’s 2-0 defeat to Arsenal in the FA Cup on Saturday.

Bentaleb is quoted by the club’s website: ‘It’s been a very good experience and I have to learn from it. I just have to take on what the coach says to me and continue to work hard and be ready.

‘We lost the game from little mistakes – that’s what cost us. We know we can beat the big teams. We just have to keep working hard in training and we’ll get the results.’
