Some of the transfer news and more related to Liverpool Football Club this Tuesday morning

Liverpool could miss out on transfer target Ryan Bertrand because Chelsea are unhappy at the lack of game time that Victor Moses has been getting for the Reds.

The Daily Telegraph reports that if Liverpool come calling for Bertrand, Brendan Rodgers may be told to look elsewhere and they will warn Bertrand it won’t necessarily mean he will get much game time in the first team at Anfield. Chelsea may also want to use the left-back as a makeweight in their own transfer dealings.

Moses only played 45 minutes in Liverpool’s FA Cup win over Oldham Athletic at the weekend.

There are more reports linking Liverpool with MK Dons youngster Dele Alli, with the Daily Express saying Liverpool are leading the race ahead of Arsenal and Newcastle for the signature of the 17-year-old midfielder.

Daniel Sturridge is set to return to the Liverpool side this weekend when the Reds take on Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium at the weekend according to several reports

Sturridge’s last appearance was in the 3-3 draw against Everton in November when he came off the bench to score an equaliser, but the forward has been struggling with an ankle injury.

Defender Kolo Toure has hailed the form of young winger Raheem Sterling, telling the Liverpool Echo that the 19-year-old is one of the best players in the team at the moment.

Toure said: ‘I play against him every day in training and every time I go up against him it’s always tough.

‘He can beat any player in this league with his pace and skill. He’s very strong and compact.

‘He works so hard for the team and this boy certainly has a future.’
