Transfer talk: Featuring Guarin, Hazard and Jelavic

Jedvaj Hazard Strootman

Transfer news from Chelsea, Aston Villa, Norwich, QPR, Everton, West Ham, West Brom and Hull City.

Paris Saint-Germain are still hoping to bring in Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard. The Belgian whizz has been in good form this season - however PSG believe they have the cash and project at their disposal to lure Hazard to the club.

But no deal will be done in the winter - with a summer move being lined up instead.

Reports today suggest that Chelsea have had an initial approach rejected for number one target Fredy Guarin. The Inter Milan midfielder, who can play in a number of different positions, has reportedly been the subject of a £13 million bid from The Blues this week - which was duly rejected.

The Colombian’s future remains up in the air - so time will tell if Chelsea return with another bid for the player.

Aston Villa are reportedly after Wes Hoolahan. The Irishman has been out of favour under Chris Hughton at Carrow Road this season - but enjoyed an excellent working relationship with Paul Lambert during their time together in Norfolk.

A £1.5 million bid is reportedly being readied.

QPR are now the favourites to sign Nikica Jelavic from Everton. The Croatian international has not featured regularly under the management of Roberto Martinez - who has admitted that he could be allowed to leave the club this winter.

Redknapp is keen, and is hoping the presence of fellow Croat Niko Kranjcar could help convince him to make the switch to London.

It comes as West Ham - their main rivals in a chase for Jelavic - confirm they are looking to keep Carlton Cole until the end of the season.

Cole himself was linked with a QPR switch this week.

West Brom caretaker boss Keith Browning says no transfer business is likely to go through while he is in charge - including any potential sale of Shane Long.

Hull City are said to be keen on the Irishman - whose contract expires in the summer.
