In a great FA Cup third round derby high on aesthetic, one-touch and counter-attack football, Arsenal defeated Tottenham Hotspur by a 2-0 scoreline with goals from Santi Cazorla and Tomas Rosicky at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, January 4.
Before the match, though, there may have been a wager placed between the two club's most outspoken commentators on social media - Arsenal supporter and media mogul Piers Morgan and former Spurs chairman Alan Sugar - with the losing team's backer having to fork out £5,000 for the Great Ormand Street children's hospital charity.
Arsenal scored a goal in either half, with Cazorla ripping a first touch effort past the reach of Hugo Lloris, prior to Rosicky doubling the Gunners' lead just after the hour mark, when he stole possession off Danny Rose and chipped the ball delicately over the French goalkeeper.
Morgan was so confident of victory after the second goal, that he instantly messaged Lord Sugar, asking for the £5k.
