Tottenham Hotspur transfer news: Juventus CEO to meet Spurs over €10m striker target

A round up of key transfer stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.

An Italian website has claimed Juventus’ Guiseppe Marotta will travel to London to meet with Tottenham over Mirko Vucinic.

The striker is rated at around the €10-12 million mark as the January transfer window gets under way.

Several sources have raised the possibility of an additional striker this month to provide an extra option to Roberto Soldado, Jermain Defoe and Emmanuel Adebayor in attack.

Tottenham will reportedly make a move to sign Manchester City’s Joleon Lescott on loan this month.

The England international has fallen out of favour at the Manchester club and the Telegraph reports Tim Sherwood as being interested in some experienced defensive cover.

Injuries to Younes Kaboul and Jan Vertonghen have left Tottenham short of cover in the middle.

Derby County are set to complete the permanent signing of Tottenham player Simon Dawkins.

Dawkins has been on loan with the Championship side and they could complete a permanent deal for the player around the £500,000 mark.

Dawkins has a record of three goals in 13 appearances for the club so far this season.
