The fans have voted, and the Team of the Season for the calendar year has been unveiled by the Premier League website, as voted by the fans.
It's a major nod to the success of Everton, under both David Moyes at the end of last season and the continuation under Roberto Martinez that four of their players feature - with four of their back five
That's more than the two Arsenal players selected, who ended the calendar year on top of the Premier League table.
Liverpool were the side who score the most goals in the calendar year, and the key figure in that, Luis Suarez, was chosen, along with captain Steven Gerrard.
Only one player from the reigning champions Manchester United makes the team, Michael Carrick, but given his side's poor start under new manager David Moyes it is hardly surprising.
Reigning Player of the Year Gareth Bale is unsurprisingly unselected having left to sign for Real Madrid in September.
With Everton second only to Manchester City in the top-eight mini-table, their consistency over the past 12 months bodes well for a sustained push at the top four over the second half of the season.
