Huddersfield favourites to land Leeds and Wolves target

BetVictor have made Huddersfield Town strong favourites for the signature of Bradford City striker Nahki Wells despite reported interest from both Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leeds United.

Bradford City striker Nahki Wells is quickly becoming one of the most courted players in the Football League in this January window.

Huddersfield Town, Wolverhampton Wanders, Queens Park Rangers and Leeds United are reportedly keen on bringing the lower league starlet in, despite a large asking £3 million fee from Bradford City.

Huddersfield Town are firm favourites to land explosive striker, being priced at 1/1. Out of the chasing pack: QPR are priced at 6/1, Wolves are priced at 12/1 and Leeds United are priced at 16/1.

According to The Mirror writer Alan Nixon, Nahki Wells is the first name on the list for both Huddersfield and Wolves. And with Leigh Griffiths interesting Celtic, the funds made by any possible transfer could be used for this potential deal.

Leeds United and Queens Park Rangers are more than likely to be the favoured destinations by the Bermuda international. But with Queens Park Rangers likely to have other irons in the fire and Leeds United finalising their strategy regarding the January transfer window, the time for Wolves or Huddersfield to strike is now.

The 23-year-old front man has been catching the eyes of football supporters around the Football League for the past couple of years. And enjoying the best season of his career to date, the interest is to be expected.

15 goals in 21 games has been the driving force behind teams advancing with their interest, but the player should be praised for his overall creative spark. He is often the main man for Bradford, not only with his goal scoring but with his all-round ability.

It's not hard to see why he is the name on a lot of lips around the Football League.
