Mikel Arteta has been speaking about Nicklas Bendtner - after the Dane impressed against Cardiff City at the weekend.
The Spaniard is already looking forward to the strikers return from an ankle injury:
"He is part of this team and he's worked hard. His attitude has been spot on since I've been here and he knows that he has to wait for his time, Olivier [Giroud] has been doing really well. The manager decided to play Lukas [Podolski] up front but when he came on I think he looked really sharp and he looked dangerous. We need people like him to help the team when he's needed."
Bendtner has revealed on Twitter that he will be having a scan on the injured joint tomorrow. He thanked the well-wishers from the club and the ‘Arsenal family’ for their get well soon messages.
Paul Pogba has committed his long term future to Juventus - but the former Manchester United youngster has admitted that he ‘dreamed’ of playing for Arsenal when he was a child.
The French international stated:
"At Juventus I'm doing fine. I don't hide the fact that as a child I dreamed of playing for Arsenal and FC Barcelona."
Theo Walcott has warned Arsenal’s Premier League rivals that Arsenal are getting stronger in their pursuit of a Premier League title:
“If you want to win titles then you have got to go to the end and the thing about this team at the moment is that we never give up. Every game that we win the belief gets stronger and stronger. A lot of people are not giving us enough credit at the moment, but we do not mind that.”
