The club have been linked with stellar names like Falcao, Diego Costa and Edinson Cavani, but none appear close to arriving.
In fact Chelsea may not make any big name signings at all this January, if the following post-game comments from Jose Mourinho are anything to go by.

It's positive Mourinho has pledged 'clinical' signings, and clearly knows what needs to be done to improve.
you could argue it's a mistake not to make those additions now, with the Premier League title race open - but bringing the top players in is not so easy to do in January.
We are sure if he believed he could attain the necessary standard of player in January he would push to do so, and may even be trying to do so privately, but top players are either cup tied, or clubs just don't want to sell mid-season.
