The experienced Gunners midfielder’s deal with the club is running down – should he get a renewal?
The likes of Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey have been stars this season, while Santi Cazorla, Mathieu Flamini, Mikel Arteta, Jack Wilshere and Theo Walcott have played their part also.
However, one midfielder that could well be leaving north London at the end of the campaign is Tomas Rosicky.
The experienced Czech Republic international’s contract expires in the summer, with no sign of whether he will get a renewal or be allowed to leave to pursue pastures new.
The 33-year-old has played 11 Premier League games so far this term and also featured in critical Champions League fixtures. He is one of the longest serving players at Arsene Wenger’s disposal, and seemingly someone that the French manager trusts.
Along with his attacking ability, the hard work and determination to win the ball back have been noted this season in Rosicky’s play, with the eastern European playmaker obviously proud to fight for the Arsenal cause.
Despite Rosicky coming to the end of his career and more than likely not starting for the Gunners if everyone’s fit and available, he still has some worth that Wenger can tap into next season.
