Manchester United have made significant movements in the market for Everton starlet Ross Barkley, going to 9/2 to land the midfielder in January, having been at 6/1 previously last month.
Manchester United are reportedly keen on landing the young England star in January and remain heavy favourites, despite interest from the other big English clubs.
The 20-year-old has showed significant promise this season, having scored three goals in 14 starts, and becoming renowned for one of the best dribblers in the Premier League. He has become a beacon of inspiration for Everton, and is often the man that can offer the spark in games that can give the Goodison faithful that extra bit of impetus to get the result in the match.
Everton will be far from keen on losing such a young and talented prospect, and will no doubt put a huge price tag on the head of the Liverpool born play-maker.
But, for United this signing couldn't be anymore needed, as they desperately seek a player that can offer that spark and be that man in games, as all too often it's left to Wayne Rooney, amid of other uninspiring United efforts.
I still believe any move is unlikely unless United really break the bank for the young star, which I find unlikely when other parts of their squad is also screaming out for attention.
