Inter move ahead of Arsenal in race for Argentine

Inter have moved to 1/2 with BetVictor to land Paris Saint Germain striker Ezequiel Lavezzi

One of Arsenal's attacking targets in January has received a huge movement in the betting markets to be an Inter Milan player by the end of January.

Although considered a regular in Paris, there has been plenty of speculation over Argentinian attacker Ezequiel Lavezzi, with both Arsenal and Internazionale reportedly heavily involved.

Not quite considered an out-and-out striker but more of a wide attacker would mean that Arsenal may not be overly keen on bringing the player to the Emirates with an 'at all cost' attitude. The Gunners already have an abundance of quality in wide attacking positions with the likes of Theo Walcott, Lukas Podolski, Sanit Cazorla and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain that can call play in them positions, amongst others.

The 28-year-old, renowned for his dribbling and flair, will be hungry to get himself a good move in January with the World Cup around the corner and with fairly significant competition for a first team place, he will need to be playing and turning some heads.

Inter Milan are more likely to be able to offer him a first team position in the first 11 and with the Italian giants in pursuit of a respectable league  position, he has a chance of making some headlines along the way.

So, perhaps a much more fashionable move to the Premier League may be on the cards for the Argentine, I feel he is likely to move eastern and rebuild his reputation where he built it..  in Serie A
