Keown's team of the season so far: No Rooney or Ozil...?

The former Arsenal defender has named his Premier League team of the season so far, with some notable absentees.

Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown has named his Premier League team of the season so far in his column in The Daily Mail.

The ex-centre half has named some players that you would expect like Luis Suarez and Sergio Aguero, but has left out some star performers also.

Wayne Rooney, who has been in inspirational form for Manchester United, and Arsenal summer signing Mesut Ozil have missed the cut.

Here is his team:

GK: Wojciech Szczesny (Arsenal)

RB: Seamus Coleman (Everton)

CB: Laurent Koscielny (Arsenal)

CB: Phil Jagielka (Everton)

LB: Luke Shaw (Southampton)

CM: Yaya Toure (Manchester City)

CM: Fernandinho (Manchester City)

RM: Aaron Ramsey (Arsenal)

AM: Sergio Aguero (Manchester City)

LM: Eden Hazard (Chelsea)

ST: Luis Suarez (Liverpool)

Manager: Roberto Martinez (Everton)

Notably, there are no Manchester United or Tottenham players and only one from Chelsea.
