All the latest news and gossip from Stamford Bridge this morning.

Real Madrid are said to be plotting a move for Chelsea star Eden Hazard. The Belgian, who has been one of the stars of their season so far, is believed to be their next choice for a big signing after giving up on Luis Suarez.

Zinedine Zidane is said to have history with the attacking midfielder and the interest in his services is so high that the Spanish outfit are said willing to offer Argentine international Angel Di Maria in any deal as a makeweight.

Ashley Cole has given his seal of approval to the idea of Chelsea snapping up Luke Shaw. The Southampton starlet has been in incredible form this season and is being heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge next summer.

Shaw, who is a self-confessed Chelsea fan, has been rumoured to be lined up as a replacement for Cole at the club - and the England international backed him on Twitter last night, stating:

"Hope to see him there to be honest".

However Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino is pretty clear on the matter:

"It is a very clear situation. The player wants to stay, the club is not willing to sell."

Chelsea are reportedly eyeing 21-year-old South African midfielder Ayanda Patosi from Belgian outfit Sporting Lokeren. Ajax are also said to be keen on the former FC Cape Town star - who has earned two international caps for the Bafana Bafana this season and is said to be worth around £1.5 million.

Away from transfer news now and Ramires will miss Chelsea’s game with Liverpool as he picked up his fifth yellow card of the season against Swansea City yesterday.

The combative midfielder will be sorely missed in this top of the table clash.
