The Guardian has released their prestigious top 100 players of 2013 list, with four players from Old Trafford making the cut.
The end of the year is traditionally the time that the previous 12 months is reviewed, with the top players and teams lauded.
2013 is no different, with The Guardian releasing their top 100 players of 2013 list.
Robin van Persie tops the list for David Moyes’ men, coming in 11th position. This is a drop on last year for the Dutch forward, who was placed in seventh in 2012.
Wayne Rooney is next up, with the England international moving up from 31st in 2012 to 28th in 2013.
Captain and talismanic defender Nemanja Vidic is included in 51st position in the 100, moving up from 64 in 2012.
Finally, fringe man Shinji Kagawa’s case for more regular inclusion is bolstered by his place at 89, moving up from 94th.
