Adnan Januzaj has propelled himself into the first-team reckoning at Manchester United this season, with the teenager dazzling the Old Trafford faithful with his individual shows of skill.
The youngster has also shown an unsavory side to his game however, with the winger booked for diving against West Ham in the Premier League outfit’s last game.
David Moyes has been full of praise for Januzaj though, and has likened the new United star to a certain Cristiano Ronaldo.
"Some people need to realise this is a young talent," said Moyes. "At the moment they are kicking him but it is right, they also kicked Ronaldo and look at the player he went on to be.
"Adnan will also go on to become a great player in time.
"At the moment the job is to make sure he is able to play."
With players like Ashley Young threatening their reputation with acts of simulation in the recent past, Januzaj needs to be careful that he does not pick up the label of being a diver.
Ronaldo was similar during his time in England, with the Portugal international accused of playacting on occasion also.
